Hoop Lake Trailhead Campground

Hoop Lake Trailhead Campground is a public campground in the region, managed by USDA Forest Service.

Sites here can be reserved in advance, and the campground books up on summer weekends and holidays.

Extra vehicle - $10.00 per vehicle (paid on-site cash/check)

Trailhead overnight parking - $5.00 per vehicle

This campground is good much of the year. Spring and fall bring mild weather and thinner crowds, while summer is busiest — book ahead or arrive early in the warm months.

The surrounding country supports the classic the region mix of outdoor recreation, and anglers will find bass, panfish, catfish and other regional sport fish in nearby waters.

Practice Leave No Trace: pack out all trash, keep a clean site, and store food securely where wildlife is present. Observe posted quiet hours, fire restrictions and pet rules — campfire bans are common in dry summer months.
