Jellison Place Campground

Jellison Place Campground is a public campground in the rivers, reservoirs and mountain lakes of Montana, managed by USDA Forest Service.

Sites here are first-come, first-served — arrive early on summer weekends to claim a spot.

This is a Public campground for tents and RVs.

Camping is first-come, first-served — no reservations.

Summer is the heart of the season here — warm days, long evenings and the fullest amenities, but also the biggest crowds. Late spring and early fall are quieter and often more comfortable; many sites close for winter once the cold sets in.

Jellison Place Campground is reached by public road.

Reserve early for summer weekends and holidays, or arrive midday on a weekday for first-come sites. Bring layers, a headlamp, and your own water if potability isn't confirmed, and double-check the rig-length and hookup situation before towing in.
