Caribou Campground

Caribou Campground is a public campground in the rivers, reservoirs and mountain lakes of Montana, managed by USDA Forest Service.

Sites here are first-come, first-served — arrive early on summer weekends to claim a spot.

Summer is the heart of the season here — warm days, long evenings and the fullest amenities, but also the biggest crowds. Late spring and early fall are quieter and often more comfortable; many sites close for winter once the cold sets in.
