Mud Lake is an inland lake, covering roughly 4 acres, one of the thousands of lakes that define Michigan's outdoors. Like most of the state's inland lakes, it offers warm-weather fishing — bass, northern pike, walleye and panfish are common — along with boating, kayaking, canoeing and swimming where public access is available, and ice fishing once it freezes over in winter.
