Morgan Meadows Falls
Morgan Meadows Falls is a Michigan waterfall, a scenic spot for hiking and photography.
Overview
Morgan Meadows Falls is a waterfall in Michigan, a scenic destination for hiking, photography and cooling off on a summer day. Most of Michigan's waterfalls are in the Upper Peninsula, where rivers tumble over ancient rock on their way to Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, though a handful spill through the northern Lower Peninsula as well. They range from broad, thundering cascades to delicate ribbon falls tucked into the forest.
Flow is usually strongest in spring during snowmelt and after heavy rain, and ice formations can make a winter visit spectacular for those prepared for the cold. Trails to the base or brink vary from easy boardwalks to steep, slippery footpaths, so wear good footing and stay back from wet edges. See related places for nearby rivers, trails and parks.
