Fees:
Campsite rates are $20 per night and include up to 10 people and 2 vehicles. There is an $8 non-refundable reservation fee for each reservation. Please note, you cannot change your check-in date. If you would like to change your check-in date, you will need to cancel your entire reservation and rebook.

Summer is the heart of the season here — warm days, long evenings and the fullest access — but also the busiest. Late spring and early fall are quieter and often more comfortable, and some access closes once winter sets in.

Rabbit Valley is reached by public road; follow the site's posted directions for the final approach.
Safety
Check the weather and any closures before you go, carry water, and tell someone your plans. Cell service is often limited on public land — download maps in advance and be wildlife-aware where applicable.
Regulations
Practice Leave No Trace: pack out all trash, stay on designated routes and roads, and respect posted rules, closures and fire restrictions — bans are common in dry summer months. Keep pets leashed where required and give wildlife room.
Tips
Go early on summer weekends to beat crowds and heat, bring layers and your own water, and double-check current conditions and seasonal access before you commit to the drive.
